This multi-purpose field was designed as a state-of-the-art field specifically for children with mental and physical disabilities; the field is proportionately smaller to make the games more playable for children with special needs. The non-infill synthetic turf adhered on top of crushed stone allows for children in wheelchairs to participate. The project was envisioned by CTX Ability Sports and funded by donations raised by Chive Charities and GoFundMe plus other organizations; the land was donated by The Bridge Community Church.
