SCOPE OF WORK

This multi-purpose field is a rubberized asphalt surface for adaptive sports. It was the first of its kind on the East Coast. The Kennedy Krieger Institute is internationally recognized for its care, research, and education pertaining to individuals with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal system. The field was designed for their Physically Challenged Sports Program, which provides therapeutic sports and recreational programs for children with varying degrees of physical abilities. Softball, basketball, and tennis can be played on the wheelchair-accessible surface.
