The two existing natural grass fields at the Denver Broncos Practice Facility were removed and two heated fields were installed in their place. Work completed for this project included an expanded field area, so that the field of play could be rotated 90 degrees to minimize wear. A new irrigation system and a state-of-the-art hydronic heating system for both fields were installed underneath the sand-based root zone. Also included were a new mechanical room to house the boilers and heat control system, as well as new sidewalks and other related hardscape work.
