Brian Storm

Founder (Deceased)

Brian was the founder and served as President & CEO of Sports Fields Inc., the parent company of FIELDS, FIELDS Maintenance, The Sports Force and Sports Force Parks. He performed work for the NFL, MLB, MLS and MiLB, as well as many major colleges and universities. He holds a number of patents for field heating and field cooling.

Brian was an icon and innovator in the sports field construction and sports facility management industries. His extraordinary work ethic, long term commitment to his clients, and desire to do the right thing are what lead him to build a successful family of companies and made him a truly outstanding person.

Fun fact: Brian was an avid car guy and was most fond of 1960’s and 1970’s muscle cars.

Mark Stalnaker

President

Mark has over 40 years of construction industry experience, making him a true expert in the field. Prior to starting FIELDS with co-founders Brian Storm and Pete Fox, Jr., Mark worked for ValleyCrest Landscape Development as the Southeast Regional Pre-Construction Services Manager.

Mark serves as President & CEO of Sports Fields Inc., the parent company of FIELDS. He has performed work for the NFL, MLB, MLS, and MiLB, as well as many major colleges and universities. Mark also serves on the Board of Directors and is involved in all aspects of strategic business planning for FIELDS. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Cum Laude) from the University of Georgia.

Fun fact: Mark is an avid college and pro football fan and has been a University of Georgia season ticket holder for 42 years!

Greg Kerbow

Vice-President

Greg manages contracts and communications, vendor purchases, scheduling for self-performed and subcontractor work, construction budgets, client communications, submittals, and payment applications. He has overseen many high-profile projects for clients including the Brigham Young University, Oklahoma State University, the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee, the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, and many others.

Greg has worked in the construction industry since 1989. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Georgia State University and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Georgia College and State University.

Fun fact: Greg enjoys going for Jeep rides with his wife and grandkids.

Rob Ryan, ASLA, PLA

Director of Design

A licensed landscape architect in 23 states, Rob is the Director of Design for FIELDS. He is responsible for managing the planning and design studio, including interfacing with clients and coordinating with sub-consultants, and regulatory and government agencies. Prior to joining FIELDS, Rob was a principal and owner of Hughes, Good, O’Leary & Ryan Inc. (HGOR), a landscape architecture and land planning firm in Atlanta. He’s also a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the U.S. Green Building Council.

Rob’s design credits for the sports industry can be found all over the United States and include Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center, Brigham Young University MLRB Field renovation, Detroit Lions Practice Facility, Franklin Ranch Community Park, Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation Projects located across the USA, and many others

Rob has also designed corporate headquarters projects for Turner Entertainment, Time Warner Cable, UPS, Lowes, First Citizens and BC/BS of Tennessee. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University.

Fun fact: Rob loves to travel and enjoys checking out local craft breweries.

Dan Haubenstricker, ALA, ASLA

Senior Estimator

Dan is a registered landscape architect and a senior estimator with FIELDS. He has spent his entire career in landscape architecture, and his many years of experience have provided him with a thorough understanding of what a successful project looks like from a design perspective. Prior to joining FIELDS, Dan was a landscape architect with Designscapes, Inc.

Dan has been involved with projects both large and small including multi-field park projects such as Franklin Ranch Community Park and The Ripken Experience at Pigeon Forge, as well as individual sports fields for clients such as the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation.

Dan is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Fun fact: Dan plays in a community band that was founded in 1895.
